Engineering Graphics and Design Online Classes

Our purpose is to make the studying of Engineering Graphics and Design possible for learners via online classes.

We have been helping students with online EGD classes since 2017.

Since then we have worked out an effective tutoring system. This is accomplished in the comfort of the student’s own home.

Requirements for the online EGD classes:

A computer, cellphone, or tablet

A stable internet connection

All the Engineering Graphics and Design Workbooks that we use for our online classes are available in Tutor and Trade’s online shop.

Engineering Graphics and Design Drawing Equipment

For the earlier grades like grade 8 and grade 9, only basic drawing equipment is needed. This basic drawing equipment consists of:

A Pencil
A ruler
An eraser
A compass
A protractor
A4 drawing paper

It is only from Grade 10 that the student will need to upgrade from basic drawing equipment to more professional drawing equipment like:

An A3 drawing board
Set squares or triangles
Compass drawing set

Fees for 2026

There is a once-off registration fee of R75

We ask for a monthly fee that is payable one month in advance.

The fee structure is as follows:

EGD Orientation course – R250

EGD Grade 8: R260

EGD Grade 9: R270

EGD Grade 10: R350

EGD Grade 11: R420

EGD Grade 12: R540

If the student needs a Workbook, the Workbook and delivery fee are extra.
